My last beer in Disney was this one. We went to Downtown Disney and stopped for lunch at Wolfgang Puck’s. First of all, my meal was absolutely amazing. I ate every single bite (which is rare for me). I started with the chicken tortilla soup and then had the pumpkin ravioli. So, so yummy. Anyways, this was the only beer that they had on draft that wasn’t a macro, plus it’s a local, so I figured I’d try it.
Style: American Amber/Red Ale
Trivia: This brewery has three beers they brew and are based out of Melbourne, Florida.
Random: I have to say that I expected more local beers to be widely available down here.
This beer poured with a half a finger of white head that dissipated slowly and left some lacing on the glass. The body was a clear, amber color with moderate visible carbonation. The nose was light with a touch of bitterness and a hint of biscuit. The taste was very light too. It started with some bread and bicuit and then went into grassy and citrus hops. At the end, some caramel notes came out as well. This was a very light amber ale to me. The body was light and carbonation was moderate and appropriate. The finish was quick with some citrus and biscuit. This beer went down without a problem, but there wasn’t much to it. I’m glad I tried a local beer, but don’t color me impressed.
