I completely overlooked that at some point in June, the blog hit three years old. It always amazed me that I’ve stayed relatively consistent in logging beers and have hit some real milestones. I started this blog for myself. Basically I was just using it as a reference tool to track what beers I tried and if I should buy them again. Even though that’s still the reason that I do this, it’s been a lot of fun. It gives me an excuse not to stick with an old faithful beer and to seek out places that have ones that are different. So, let’s hope I have at least another 3 years of blogging in me.
Style: American Pale Wheat Ale
Trivia: This brew comes in at 18 IBUs.
Random: Bruno Mars is another one of those artists that I manage to dislike every single song that he puts out.
This brew poured with a finger of white head that dissipated very slowly. It left limited lacing on the glass. The body was a cloudy orange color with lots of carbonation visible throughout. The nose was orange with wheat and a touch of yeast. The taste started with orange and then a pronounced note of pineapple juice. It added some sweetness to the brew that quickly followed up by wheat. The body was medium thickness with heavy carbonation. It had a long fruity finish. This beer was really enjoyable from first sip to last and would easily be a go-to summer beer for me if it was distributed in New Jersey.
