Free Will Miscommunication

I’m almost finished with the first season of “Legion” and it just keeps getting weirder, to the point that it is difficult to follow. I do enjoy it conceptually and I like the characters, but they keep going between reality and this alternate reality and it gets confusing. Anyways, let’s get to the beer.

ABV: 7.7%

Style: American IPA

Trivia: According to the brewery website, “New England style Farmhouse IPA with an earthy, citrus aroma leading to notes of Meyer lemon, tropical fruit, and dew covered pine needles. Underlying spiced, peppery, and funky characteristics that contribute to a dry finish with lingering bitterness.”

Random: I went to their tap room at Peddler’s Village and it’s a great spot.

This beer poured with a half a finger of pure white head. It dissipated quickly and left some lacing on the glass. The body was cloudy and lemon yellow with no carbonation visible due to the haziness. The nose had a lot of grass and lemon citrus notes. The taste had a lot more depth than the nose did. It had lemon citrus with grass and pine as well. There wasn’t much tropical fruit to it. What was there manifested as pineapple. The beer really needed a lot more hops to it. It had some white pepper at the end of the sip. The body was on the thinner side with very light carbonation. The finish was quick and had white pepper. I wasn’t a big fan of this beer and wish it had more hops. I won’t be ordering this one again.
