One of the best things about Hawaii was the insanely fresh produce. Although we weren’t huge fans of the food, the produce was amazing.
Style: American IPA
Trivia: According to the brewery website, “We Have All good intentions to disturb, disorder and enlighten you with unforgettable beer after beer. Because We are so much in love with good taste, all the beers from Evil Twin are prepared in 10 of the best breweries around the world. Exclusively hand picked to please you with delicate, funky, extreme and by all means rare flavors. Maybe not the easiest way, but certainly the most fun!!! One More Thing A clever man once said: ‘Stay thirsty… stay foolish.’ That sounds like our vision, just with a tad less attitude.”
Random: This is another beer that I could not find any information for on the website.
This beer poured a three finger, pure white, thick head. It took forever to dissipate and left a lot of lacing on the glass. The body had a pink tinge and was bright orange and cloudy. There was no carbonation visible due to the cloudiness. The nose was filled with lemon zest and not much else. The taste was almost completely reminiscent of Country Time pink lemonade. I picked up the sugar and then the lemon zest and lemon flesh. There was no malt to speak of. The body was on the lighter side with lots of seltzer-like carbonation. It had a quick finish with lemon. A can of this was $3.50, which came to $.29 per ounce. This was an expensive beer, but had good flavor. I would have this one again.
