One of the shows that I really like is “Gotham.” I used to read comic books and this show brings in so many different aspects of Batman and it’s really interesting how they’ve made the series start from when Bruce Wayne’s parents are killed. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. They take a few liberties with the characters and certain storylines, but it’s one of my favorite shows on television right now. Let’s get to the cider that Val picked out last time we were at Half Time.
Trivia: According to the brewery website, “The Pumpkin is fermented with fresh local Sugar pumpkins.”
Random: The Jeopardy clues on this episode are shockingly easy.
This cider poured with no head at all on top of a clear, straw yellow body. There was a lot of carbonation visible in the body. The nose was filled with fresh apples and some honey sweetness, but I didn’t pick up any pumpkin. The taste had more pumpkin notes. It started with red delicious apples and quickly went into pumpkin flavors with light fall spice, specifically nutmeg and cinnamon. It still had a light and crisp body with high carbonation. It had a quick finish with apples and pumpkins and nutmeg. I didn’t pick up any booze. This was a really solid cider that was easy drinking and flavorful. For $10.99 a bomber, this broke down to $.50 an ounce, which was on the more expensive side, but I really enjoyed it.
