Apparently not all of my photos saved from my Ohio trip, so unfortunately there are going to be a few beers with brewery logos. I even checked my trash and can’t find them. At least I can figured out what I had by Untappd.
Style: Saison/Farmhouse Ale
Trivia: According to the brewery website, “Ill Mannered Brewing Company is powered by a 3 Barrel all electric brewery. We make our beer just 93 gallons at a time, which allows us the ability to experiment at a small scale and rotate in new beers all the time. That means when you stop by, chances are there is something new on tap for you to try. Come on by and check out the brewery. Just ask and we will gladly give you a look around!”
Random: This was another beer that didn’t have a description on the brewery website.
This beer poured with a one finger, off white head that dissipated quickly and left some lacing on the glass. The body was a cloudy chestnut color with moderate carbonation visible. The nose was really toasty with hazelnuts and then quickly went into a wheat and yeast note. There was not much spice to it. The taste started with a lot of nutty sweetness. It went into yeast and then a slight citrus brightness along with some coriander. It had a medium thick body with a lot of carbonation visible. The finish was lengthy with yeast and citrus pith. I thought this beer was decent, but a little out of balance.
Untappd Rating: 3.5/5.0
