Although I visited a lot of places on my vacation, but I took most of it off from reviewing beers. I did have a final beer in the airport on the way home. It was the only beer on tap that was from a local brewery, which I found surprising. Their logo was a kokopelli, which is what I have a tattoo of on my ankle, so they get points for that.

ABV: 6.2%

Style: American IPA

Trivia: According to the brewery website, “This smooth, medium bodied American IPA will hit the spot. The intense citrus/pine aroma and taste is accompanied with a slight hit of caramel. After a huge dry hopping, one whiff of this guy will have you breaking out that old tie-dye and throwing on a best-of album. – Relive, enjoy”

Random: I’ve found that most airports don’t have a great beer selection, with the exception of one of the Philly terminals, which have about 90 different taps of local beers.

This beer poured with a one finger, thick, cream-colored head. It dissipated slowly and left some lacing on the glass. The body was a hazy, amber color with only a small amount of visible carbonation. The nose had some hops to it and light, toasted malt. The taste started with orange peel, dried grapefruit and then went into slightly sweet caramel malt. The body was thicker than expected with moderate carbonation. The finish was lengthy with dried grapefruit. This was a decent IPA, but it didn’t knock my socks off.
