Another day done. I’m really not feeling this heat in New Jersey. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like nice weather, but I have a feeling this means that the summer is just going to be unbearable. And I HATE the heat. I’d rather have ten below zero than 110 degrees in July. This is not going to be good. So, how about another beer from the fruit six-pack to cool me down?

Random: I can’t believe that Lincecum is doing so poorly this season. I almost feel badly. Almost.
This brew poured with a one finger white head that quickly dissipated and left no lacing on the glass. The body is a dark mahogany color with a generous amount of carbonation visible through the clear body. The only thing that I got on the nose was raspberry and it didn’t smell like “natural” raspberry. It smelled like the raspberry flavoring I just put in my homebrew. I didn’t get any honey either. The taste started with the artificial raspberry flavor and then went into a bit of honey sweetness. The end of the sip was unpleasant. I got a bit of a metallic flavor to it. The body was a bit thick and the carbonation I got on it was lower than expected. The finish was long with the metallic flavor and the fake raspberry. Honestly, the raspberry got a bit cloying and was generally annoying. I wouldn’t have this beer again.
