Val and I are still watching the Golden Globes. We just saw Carrie Underwood come out with this pink dress that looks like a life jacket. It’s all sorts of terrible. It also has very large shoulder pads. I don’t think there is a way that it could be comfortable. Sting looks good, though. I also saw him recently on “Watch What Happens Live,” which is one of my guilty pleasures. I don’t think he’s aged in at least 15 years. He was actually quite funny on that show. Anyways, let’s talk about this mead that I received as a gift.

Random: I feel bad for some of these celebrities. Their dresses look so uncomfortable. I don’t wear dresses that often, but when I do, I at least make sure that they’re bordering on comfortable and don’t require tape to keep my parts in.
The mead poured a clear and still golden-orange color. The nose had some aggressive alcohol with perfume-like flowers and honey. The taste was also incredibly sweet with the same biting alcohol note. It also had some flowers. The body was medium thickness and not as syrupy as I expected. The had a lengthy and sticky finish with honey and booze. I have no idea how much this mead was since I received it as a gift from someone who just came back from Poland. I’m glad I tried it, but this was better suited to a cold winter’s night with nowhere to go because this would knock me on my ass.
